Hello, my name is Michael Weisz and I'm 23 years old.
I'm currently living in England to study computer science at Oxford University.
I was born in Hamburg and have been living in northern Germany for most of my life. I have always been passionate about technology and problem solving, and before coming to England I did my bachelor's degree in IT Systems Engineering at Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) in Potsdam.
In computer science, I'm mostly interested in the area of Machine Learning and its various applications.
I love music, good books and movies, my family, cats, inspiring and passionate people, improv and so much more. It's hard to name it all. Nevertheless, these are a few of my favourite things:
"Computer Science is no more about computers than Astronomy
is about telescopes."
I enjoy working on software projects and participating in hackathons.
"If you can dream it, you can do it."
I'm passionate about founding my own software startup one day.
"The world is a fine place
and worth the fighting for."
I'm an irrepressible optimist and I know that we can leave this world better than we found it.
"I go to seek a Great Perhaps."
I love travelling and everything that's related to it. People, languages, foreign culture, adventures...
